Destiny 2 Executioner's Hoard Triumph Guide | How To Complete The Memory Alembic Quest

In this Destiny 2 Executioner’s Hoard Triumph guide, we will be explaining all you need to know about the Executioners that roam around Savathun’s throne world, how to find them, how to get Qualichor, and how to complete the Memory Alembic quest.

The Executioners are tied to several Triumphs, which are the “Ascended Bounty Hunter” Triumph, the “Predator of Predators” Triumph, and the “Executioner’s Hoard” Triumph.

To complete each of these triumphs you will need to find the Executioners and the Executioner’s Hoard, defeat them and then collect their chests.

In that process, you will acquire Qualichor, which you can use to start the Memory Alembic quest from Fynch, and this quest will also require you to find and kill the Executioners.

To complete the Executioner’s Hoard Triumph you will have to open their chest and to do so you will need the Refined Qualichor, which you will get by completing the Memory Alembic quest from Fynch.

Destiny 2 Executioner’s Hoard Triumph Quick Guide

Find and defeat an Executioner;
Open the Executioner chest to receive the Qualichor;
Deliver the Qualichor to Fynch to receive the Memory Alembic quest;
Complete the Memory Alembic quest;
Speak with Fynch to receive the Refined Qualichor;
Find and defeat the Executioner’s Hoard;
Open the Executioner’s Hoard chest.

How To Get Qualichor

The first thing you will need to do to find the Executioners and get the Qualichor is to unlock Deepsight 2, without Deepsight 2 you will not be able to complete this.

You have to unlock Deepsight 2 from Fynch reputation ranks, so, if you haven’t yet, start doing patrols, public events, and pretty much everything in the Throne World to level up Fynch reputation and unlock Deepsight 2.

The Qualichor will drop from the chest after defeating an Executioner, and to find and kill the Executioner you will have to find one of the Deepsight reveal locations, as this specific one will make appear to you a Scorn dead body with a green goo trail for you to follow until you eventually reach the Executioner.

The first Executioner chest you open will give you the Qualichor, which you will have to give to Fynch, and he will give you the Memory Alembic quest.

How To Find The Executioners Locations

To find an Executioner you will have to first find one of the Deepsight reveals locations, this Deepsight will reveal to you a Scorn dead body, when you interact with the dead body it will reveal to you a green goo trail.

Follow that trail until you reach some Debris, investigate them and the trail will continue for you to follow, at the end of that trail the Executioner will spawn, and when you kill it the chest will spawn.

The Deepsights that spawn the Scorn dead body can appear in the three major areas of the Throne World, in Quagmire, in the Fluorescent Canal, and in the Miasma, and they will rotate daily through these areas, that means that at every daily reset the locations of these Deepsights will change area, and it is totally random.

Also, there will be more than one Deepsight for the dead body in each area, but you only need to find and reveal one, then follow the trail.

To find these Deepsights you will have to keep exploring the areas until you find one, but if you look closely you will notice that they keep appearing in some sort of a pattern in those areas:

In the Quagmire area, the Deepsights will appear on the trail to the Alluring Curtain;
In the Fluorescent Canal area, the Deepsights will appear on the trail to Queen’s Bailey;
In the Miasma area, the Deepsights will appear on the trail to Witch’s Echo.

If you explore the path in the major areas to the adjacent areas you will for sure find one of the Deepsights.

Now, unlike the Deepsights that can spawn randomly, after you interact with the Debris, the location of the Executioner will always be the same in each area:

The Deepsight in the Quagmire area will always take you to an Executioner within the Alluring Curtain area;
The Deepsight in the Fluorescent Canal area will always take you to an Executioner within the Queen’s Bailey area;
The Deepsight in the Miasma area will always take you to an Executioner within the Witch’s Echo area.

You will have to find and kill one Executioner in each of these locations for the Ascended Bounty Hunter Triumph.

How To Complete The Memory Alembic Quest

The Memory Alembic quest will require you to acquire more Qualichor by finding and killing eight Executioners. The downside is that you can only defeat one Executioner per day, you will have to search every day for an Executioner to acquire more Qualichor and complete the Memory Alembic quest.

However, there is another way to acquire Qualichor, you can also get Qualichor from one of the chests of the Executioner’s Hoard, but the Executioner’s Hoard is a random event that spawns randomly on each area.

This event will spawn some waves of Lucent Hive and when you defeat the final one, a chest will spawn and give you a Qualichor

When you’ve collected eight Qualichor, just return to Fynch and he will give you a Refined Qualichor, which you will use to open the secret chest from the Executioner’s Hoard.

Also, once you’ve completed the Memory Alembic quest, you can acquire another one every week from Fynch in exchange for a Qualichor.

The Executioner’s Hoard

The Executioner’s Hoard is a random event that spawns randomly on each area of Savathun’s Throne World. To know that the event is active you will have to be paying attention to the bottom left side of your screen as it will display the following message:

“Lucent Hive Inquisitors in your sector.”

As it is a random event you will have to keep exploring all the areas until you see that message appear.

When that message appears it means that somewhere in that area it will be spawning some glowing white Lucent Hive. Search and kill them.

When you kill those enemies a new message will appear saying:

“Lucent Hive Inquisitors eliminated: commander incoming.”

For this time it will spawn a more powerful enemy in the same place.

This part of the event will have three waves, so, when you defeat this powerful enemy the same first message will appear again and the glowing white Lucent Hive will spawn again, repeat this three times to spawn the final enemies.

Also, be aware that the three waves can spawn in different locations of that area, so, if when you defeat a wave and they don’t spawn there, you will have to search for them in another place in that area.

When you defeat the three waves, another message will appear saying:

“Lucent Hive Lightbearers arriving: exercise extreme caution.”

Now, three Lucent Hive Lightbearers and a few weaker enemies will spawn, and they can spawn in another place than the one where you’ve killed the last wave, if you don’t see them just start looking around for them, as if you take too long they will disappear.

Once you’ve killed the final wave with the Lucent Hive Lightbearers a chest will spawn near where they were, that chest will give you a Qualichor.

Also, near where you’ve killed the Lucent Hive Lightbearers will appear a Deepsight, sometimes right next to the chest, and this is what you will need to reach the Executioner’s chest for the Executioner’s Hoard Triumph.

Activate the Deepsight and a path will appear for you to reach the Executioner’s chest, once you get to the chest you will need the Refined Qualichor to open it and get the Triumph done.

After you’ve completed the Triumph, if you want to open the Executioner’s Hoard chest again, you can grab another Memory Alembic quest from Fynch in exchange for a Qualichor every week, with that you can acquire more Refined Qualichor to open these chests.
